Turkey Dinner 2015

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all those who helped make the Thanksgiving Community Meal possible on November 4, 2015. Many of Messiah’s members donated delicious food items and worked at the event. About 185 meals were served and many positive comments were made about the quality of the food and how welcoming Messiah was to all that attended. Many noticed how helpful the young people that helped during the dinner were—thanks! Because of the generosity of our members for donating the food served and the generous spirit that moved people to give a freewill offering for their meal -- Messiah and Heavens Helping Hands made $1187. Thank you! This money will be used for outreach programs in our church including $400 to sponsor a young person in Tanzania to attend secondary Christian school and $500 to Salem Baptist Church in Ashland that burned on Halloween.
